Peppercorn Whole Black Malabar Organic
The small dried fruit of a vine-like plant and a native of the Western Indian coast. Pepper was one of the first spices brought to Europe from the East. Black peppercorns are produced by drying the not yet ripe berries of the plant. During this process, the flesh surrounding the interior seed of the berry dries and shrinks into a wrinkled black layer. And thus, a peppercorn is born.
This is a great Organic product from the Malabar region of India. An excellent ingredient for a savory or tomato based cocktail.
